As a charming destination, Jiangxi Province abounds in a lot of wonderful attractions with charming landscape, famous mountain resorts, historic cities, scenic rivers and lakes, exotic caves and wonderful sights, sacred places of Buddhism and Taoism as well as winter habitat for migratory birds.

Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, is the birthplace of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Here you may visit the Tengwang Pavilion, the No.1 famous building in the south of the Yangtze River, the Shengjinta Pagoda, the Xishan Longevity Palace and the Badashanren Museum.

Ganzhou, the southern center of the province, with its ancient style, dates back over 2000 years ago.

The Poyang Lake, China's largest fresh water lake, is also the kingdom of rare birds in Jiangxi. Visitors may see over 2,800 white cranes and over 40,000 other migratory birds in winter.

There are more than 450 scenic spots, of which the four famous mountains are the representatives. The Lushan Mountain in the north is not only a famous summer resort but also a famous historical and cultural site. Many scholars in the past left their inscriptions there. Its "three-dimensional snow views" in winter are more beautiful than one can take in.  As the first base area of the Communist-led revolution and also a scenic site, Jinggang mountain in the south is flocked tens of thousands tourists every year. Sanqing Mountain and Longhu Mountain in the northeast of the province are considered the holy places of Taoism, an indigenous Chinese religion. Longhu Mountain boasts a beautiful scenery with exotic peaks, connected red sheer faces, clear water and drifting boats. Sanqing Mountain has the primitiveness of the unspoiled nature and exotic peaks and monstrous stones.

Besides, Jiangxi is a province with rich revolutionary struggle traditions. Especially in the modern national liberation and revolutionary war, Jiangxi made great contributions and sacrificed a lot of lives for the revolution. Many of the veteran revolutionists and leaders of the CPC once worked and lived in Jiangxi. They organized and led the famous Anyuan Workers' Movement, the August 1 Nanchang Uprising and the Autumn Harvest Uprising between the border of the Hunan and Jiangxi. Moreover, they established the Jinggang Mountains revolutionary base area and the Ruijin center of the central revolutionary base area, smashing the military encirclements and suppressions of the KMD reactionaries and starting the 25,000 li Long March.
