The well-known Mount Huangshan scenic area is made up of more than 70 peaks, among which is Jade Screen Peak. Generation after generation, people have lauded Jade Screen Peak's precipitous cliffs, grotesque pines, peculiarly shaped rocks, seas of clouds, hot springs and endless ladders for ascending the mountains, resulting in a rich legacy of art and literature. The peak is wreathed in dense mist for nearly 256 days out of the year, which makes it look like a crystal castle in winter, the season when it is the most beautiful.
