Shenzhou-10's reentry module delivered to designers2013-6-28 11:23:00 From: Xinhua
The reentry module of China's Shenzhou-10 spacecraft was handed over to its designers in Beijing on Thursday for further study. Scientists at the China Academy of Space Technology will conduct a thorough examination of the module. Carrying the three crew members of China's Shenzhou-10 mission, the reentry module parachuted to a landing site in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at 8:07 a.m. Wednesday. The reentry module is the part of a spacecraft that returns to Earth after a space flight. In addition to the reentry module, China's Shenzhou-10 spacecraft contains a service module and an orbital module. The Shenzhou-10 mission was China's longest manned space mission. In its 15-day journey in space, the Shenzhou-10 docked with the orbiting space lab Tiangong-1 twice, once through automatic operation and the other manually. A highlight of the mission was a lecture that female astronaut Wang Yaping delivered to students on Earth from the Tiangong-1. Total:1 Page: 1
