University students hoping to head into the agricultural field after graduation will benefit from a recent agreement between Yunan University of Finance and Economics, the Vocational Education Group of Yunnan Business and Management and Jinyuan Co. Ltd.
The three parties signed a cooperative agreement for a University Student Businesses Startup program at the opening of the Kunming International Flower show and the fifth Kunming Agricultural Exhibition, on September 19, 2009. The director of Jinyuan Co.,Ltd ,Cao Ronggen, said, "The University Student Businesses Startup program has three main stages. The first stage involves internship. By promoting the program in main universities, we plan to attract university students who are passionate about the agricultural flower industry to come and train for three 3-6 months within our facilities." "The second stage is called practice. Under the guidance of the company, students attempt to operate in a real-life situation by using what they have learned in the first stage," he said. He said, "The last stage is called enterprise-operating. The company will help students to set up their companies. It will use the industrial parks as a platform to help them apply for financial backing and beneficial policies. We predict that every student can receive credit to buy 3-4mu of land, with each mu bringing in an annual profit of 15000RMB profit." The University Student Businesses Startup program is supported by the Shilin and Anning Jinyuan flower industrial parks, which has the cover about 2000 mu.
