Algeria reports 3 new death cases of A/H1N1 flu2009-11-27 16:30:00 From: China Daily
ALGIERS, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- A total of 50 new cases of A/H1N1 influenza, among which were three deaths, were confirmed on Thursday by the Algerian Health Ministry, bringing the number of confirmed cases of the epidemic in the country to 274. ![]() The three latest deaths included a 50-year-old woman in the central city of Biskra, a 27-year-old young mother in the northwestern city of Oran and her newborn baby, local media said. According to a statement issued by the ministry, the number of the new cases of A/H1N1 in the past three days reached 88, among whom many had traveled back from Khartoum, capital of Sudan, where a World Cup qualification match between Algeria and Egypt was held on Nov. 18. The first batch of A/H1N1 vaccines, comprising 900,000 doses, is expected to be transported to Algeria in early December. Total:1 Page: 1
