17th March, 2012, HSK exam took place in London Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM) as scheduled. CITCM is one of the few institutes that hold the exam in March, therefore, besides exam-takers from London South Bank University, there are also exam-takers from other cities in the UK such as Manchester, and there are even three students who flew from Spain especially for taking the exam.

Compared to the one organized last year, this year' s first exam surpassed it both in the number of exam-takers and in the levels included. Because of CITCM' s effort in HSK promotion, some students knew of our organizing the HSK exam and our successful experience last year through the internet. They registered for the exam through the internet. It reflects the enthusiasm of Chinese learners in the UK and the European area and the success of the HSK promotion of CITCM.

The HSK exam completed successfully with the effort of both the teachers and exam-takers.

CITCM will continue to work hard on the promotion of HSK exam, attracting more Chinese culture and language lovers in learning mandarin, contributing more to the overseas promotion of mandarin and Chinese culture.
