"Study in China" Seminar Will Be Held In May2012-4-6 14:02:00 From: http://www.eduembca.org
Led by Peking University, one of the most prestigious Chinese universities, a group of 14 universities from China will come to Canada to host a seminar this May. The purpose of this visit is to provide first hand information on Chinese universities and their programs in order to attract more Canadians to study in China. With the globalization of the economy, students' mobility has become one of the most important impetus for future economic growth. During Premier Stephen Harper's visit to China just a few days ago, the two countries agreed to encourage more students to study in each other's countries. It is planned that jointly a total of 100,000 students will go to study either in Canada or China within the coming five years. To study in China, lacking of the information is one of the hampers. Organized by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, or CSCSE, a non-profit organization under the Ministry of Education of China, the 14 Chinese universities will present a seminar on study in China. Hopefully it will help to narrow the gap and set up a bridge between China and Canada.
