On April 21, 2012, Confucius Institute at University of Khartoum (CIUOFK) held a "China Day" party at its teaching brach--Vista Institute. Pleasant Chinese folk music, brush calligraphy, cooking show, papercut learning and wonderful Kongfu film attracted over one hundred Chinese language learners.

Vista Institute lies in the downtown Arabic Market in the capital of Sudan, Khartoum. It's a famous language training educational institution. Since the opening of Chinese language course at the end of January this year, the number of learners has arrived to over one hundred. CIUOFK helped this Institute to establish the Chinese language teaching system, promote Chinese books to the learners, recommend good Sudanese Chinese teachers and select Chinese teacher to organiza culture teaching.

At this party, Sudanese and Chinese teachers introduced the history and culture significance of Chinese cuisine, brush calligraphy, traditional paper-cut, Chinese Kongfu, etc. They enjoyed themselves in the interactive activities, and students didn't want to leave after the party was over. The learners said they were eager to learn Chinese language, make more Chinese friends and have a better undertanding of everything in China.
