Professor Hua Ertian, Deputy director of No. 3 Bureau, Chinese Academy of Engineering, visited Ganzhou Campus of JUST on April 23. Hua graduated from Southern Institute of Metallurgy (the predecessor of JUST) majoring in mechanical engineering in 1983. At his meeting with JUST management, professor Hua expressed his deep appreciation for his teachers' instruction when he was an undergraduate student of JUST. Hua  put forward some suggestions for upgrading the teaching and research in the highly competitive higher education institutions. Hua aslo visited the school history exhibition. Professor Hua has served as deputy president of Zhejiang University of Business. He is now doctoral supervisor in Chinese Academy of Engineering.
