Hummersknott Academy Confucius Classroom from the Schools Network Confucius Institute (SSAT) welcomes new Chinese learners from Germany and France �C German and French exchange students.

As a Specialist Language Academy, Hummersknott Academy are committed to ensuring that all students have access to a wide range of languages and have partner schools in France, Germany, Spain, Russia and China. Students have opportunities to exchange with students in these countries and to take part in visits abroad.

This year, when German and French exchange students were visiting their partner school Hummersknott Academy, they got their first contact with Chinese language and Chinese calligraphy. German students learned how to write numbers and their names in Chinese.

French students learned how to write and say the animals the years they were born. They also learned some basic greetings in Chinese.
