12th of May 2012, was held the 11th edition of Chinese Bridge Competition, Moldova Division, sponsored by Chinese Embassy in Moldova and organized by Confucius Institute at Free International University of Moldova. The ambassador of China in Moldova, His Excellency, Mr. Tong Mingtao, together with the wife attended the competition and acted as judges, the directors from Moldova and Chinese side of Confucius Institute at ULIM, teachers and students from Confucius Institute, in total 50 people attended the event.

A total of 10 participants took part in the Chinese Bridge Competition, from which, 6 school students and 4 university students. They all are Confucius Institute at ULIM students, students from Moldovan State University, from secondary schools.

All the participants are talented and have strong knowledge; the competition was very intense. It was divided in three parts: "My dream about China", at this part the participants had to deliver a speech, the next two parts was the quiz about Chinese language and culture, and the talent show. The participants delivered fluent and excited speeches; the talent show impressed the judges and the audience. After the competition finished, Anna got the first price and Lina the second price, they will go to Beijing and respectively in Chongqing, in October to participate in the competition.

One of the students from the university division, Olga, won the competition and in July will participate in the finals of the Chinese Bridge Competition in China, the jury unanimously recommended her. Dorina was the second from the university students and she will go in China, in July to assist in the finals of Chinese Bridge Competition.

The players expressed their love for China and Chinese culture from different perspectives, showing their own style!
