On May 11, 2012, Confucius Institute at Wroclaw University, which has co-partnership with Xiamen University, convened its board of directors meeting in its institute. Vice President of Xiamen University and Chinese Chairman of the Board Professor Wu Daguang attended this meeting. Polish side present at the meeting were Vice Rector and Chairman of the Board Professor Adam Jezierski, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics Professor Wlodzimierz Gromski, Dean of the Faculty of Philology Professor Michal Sarnowski, Director of the International Office Miss Urszula Broda. Also present at the meeting were Chinese and Polish CI directors and coordinator of the International office of Xiamen University Ms. Lin Lin.

On the May 12, Rector of Wroclaw University Professor Marek Bojarski cordially met with Vice President Wu, and had a pleasant discussion with him, and finally signed a memorandum on the cooperation between the two universities.
