On May 19th Confucius Institute of the University of Valencia successfully held the new HSK tests. Although it´a Saturday, an unshakable pleasant weekend for Spaniards to lie back, around 8 o´clock many examinees arrived one after another at the HSK testing center of Confucius Institute of the Valencia University, among whom there were a lot of adult Chinese learners who were going to take part in the HSK tests and many primary and secondary school students accompanied by their parents to attend the YCT tests.

This session of examination includes five levels of HSK tests, two levels of HSK oral tests and four levels of YCT tests. It is reported that the number of participants in the tests has reached more than 400, of which the examinees of HSK Level 1, HSK Level 2 and YCT Level 1 amounted to 267. This figure suggests that in the region of Valencia, the number of new Chinese learners has greatly increased since 2010, and the demand for Chinese learning has been rising continuously.

During the examination, the examinees took the tests seriously and the supervisors worked in a conscientious manner. The whole examination process was very well regulated.
