On May 24, 2012, the opening ceremony of training class for the staff in China-Myanmar Oil and Gas Pipeline Company in Southeast Asia was held in Yangon Foreign Language University. The Chinese representative of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Mr. Zhang Qiang, the Burmese representative of energy department U Kyaw Nyan Tun, the director of Yangon Foreign Language University Dr. Lwin Lwin Soe, the Chinese director of Fuxing Confucius classroom Mr. Zheng Feifu and the trainee representative made speeches respectively on the opening ceremony. It was the first training project that Chinese invested enterprise provided for their Burmese staff. The China-Myanmar Oil and Gas Pipeline Company in Southeast Asia had the first batch of 60 staff trained including three periods and 9 months and planning to be completed in February 2013. Sixty staff had taken part in the training class. This Chinese training gained warm response and good effect through site response and after-class feedback questionnaires. Trainees expressed that they were quite enjoying the training and could say hello in Chinese to the management of their company at once. The company has decided to entrust Fuxing Confucius Classroom training Chinese for their staff regularly. The second one will start three months later since the first opening training class. It was the first try for Fuxing Confucius Classroom opening training classroom in Yangon Foreign Language University.
