Chinese games were composed of 5 competitions: Chinese words and expressions articulation, words and phrases recognition, sentences organization, and the relay race of "Three Character Classic". At the beginning of the words competition, all of the pupils were very active and strived to be the first to articulate various types of Chinese words and phrases that they had learned in the term. When it came to words and phrases recognition and sentences organization, the parents and relatives sitting by could not help being worried when seeing gradually developed difficulties of the vocabulary, some tried hard to help their kids by silently moving their mouths and some just gave hints by body gestures. Seeing the kids using their minds, exchanging ideas with each other and speaking out the answers, the parents were revealed with the happy smile. The real difficult task was the relay race of "Three Character Classic": the teachers spoke out the previous sentence and the pupils recited the following sentence; and then the teachers mentioned the second half of the sentence and the kids were to tell the previous half. This time the parents and relatives witnessed how thoroughly the kids can recite backwards "Three Character Classic". The second part of the graduation ceremony was to show children's Chinese artistic talents. The pupils demonstrated their artistic abilities by singing a Chinese children's song "Mother is the best in the world", reciting poems of Tang dinasty "Early Spring", "Toiling Farmers", and reading a tongue twister "Big rabbits and small white rabbits" in a fast-paced speed. At last Lucie played a piece of music with a Chinese instrument of Guzheng and demonstrated her application of cadence of Chinese manner. The Event was not just the graduation ceremony, but also a test and a show of knowledge learned in the term of the children's Chinese classes, and at the same time was a report that Confucius Institute made to the parents.
