The opening ceremony of Chinese language and Kongfu classes was held in Confucius Institute at UNZA on June 14, which more than 20 students from Greece, India and Zambia attended. People from all walks of life, attracted by the advertisement, came to see and experience themselves the charm of Chinese language and martial arts.

On the ceremony, professor He Yi, director of Confucius Institute at UNZA, delivered a speech in which she introduced in detail the course of the development of Confucius Institute at UNZA and encouraged the students to learn good Chinese language and martial arts and promote the friendship between China and Zambia.Guo Guangwei,a Chinese teacher, made a well-targeted introduction to the official examinations of HSK, Chinese bridge competition, Chinese scholarship and summer camp. Doc. Zhao Yiqiang, the language teacher, started from the basic alphabet 'b,p,m,f 'connecting with the words 'Zhongguo '(China), 'Beijing 'and 'Hanyu'(Chinese language) and conducted the students into the palace of Chinese language and culture. Wang Jinzhong, the Kongfu teacher, performed martial arts of broadsword, rapier, Tai chi, and mantis boxing, etc. His brilliant performance won warm applause and cheers from the audience.
