On June 12th, 2012, Dr. Liu Jinghui, Secretary-General of China Scholarship Council (CSC), signed an agreement of "Sime Darby Foundation Students Scholarship Program" with Ms.Yatela Zainal Abidin, CEO of Sime Darby Foundation Malaysia. Tun Musa Hitam, the Chairman of Sime Darby Foundation, Mr.Liu Baoli, the Director-General of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education of China and H.E Datuk Iskandar Sarudin, Malaysian Ambassador to China attended to witness the signing ceremony.
 
"Sime Darby Foundation Students Scholarship Program" is sponsored by Sime Darby Foundation which is affiliated to the Sime Darby Group. Since 2012, for the next five years, Sime Darby Foundation will annually select a certain number of outstanding Malaysian young talents to study in well-known Chinese Universities and outstanding Chinese young talents to study in world-class elite Universities for bachelor's degrees. CSC is responsible for the implementation and management of the cooperation program. The signing of the cooperation agreement marks an important step forward in CSC's collaboration with multinational corporations in international talents training.
