Guide for Study in China2011-12-30 12:50:00 From: www.admissions.cn
On the occasion when China is celebrating the 60th anniversary of its reception of international students, Study in China (www.admissions.cn), with its long-time first hand experience in this field, edited this Guide for Study in China for the purpose of collecting all the related information and introducing its experience to provide a detailed and professional guideline for international students and relevant workers, thus accelerating the progress of China international programs. This book can be divided into three parts. The first part is the survey of China, which includes basic knowledge, politics, history, economy, culture and other useful information of China. The second part is the survey of China's education, which is classified into two chapters. The first chapter is the survey of China's education and international programs. It involves all the related subjects, such as main bodies and their functions, procedure, scholarship, courses and fees, visa, residence permit and so on. The second chapter is the brief introduction to China's municipalities, provinces, autonomous regions, special administration regions and their respective universities and institutions. The third part is the appendix. Apart from some policy documents, it introduces top Chinese universities, Hanban, Confucius Institute, Chinese Proficiency Test, Chinese Bridge, Project 211, Project 985, contact information of relevant education departments of Chinese embassies in different countries, useful websites, commonly used forms and etc. In order to ensure its updating and accuracy, we have consulted many specialists, teachers in the universities and institutions and staffs in several embassies and referred to a great number of books and websites. Here we would like to express our sincere gratitude to them. Despite our painstaking efforts, nothing is perfect. Your comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. In short, we hope this book can be used as a key by foreigners who want to learn China and China universities and pursue education in China. Total:1 Page: 1
