On the afternoon of May 8,2013,Mr. Thomas Haynes, Director of International Operations from Herzing University, visited HUT, together with Mr. Matthew Schneider, Manager of International Relations and Dr.Xintao Liu, Director of Information Technology. During their visit, they had meetings with Professor Dengke Xu, Dean of International Department, Yuan Su, Vice Dean of International Department and Jiang Wen, Vice Dean of International College.

Prof. Xu discussed with the delegation on joint Bachelor Program and reached on consensus. The meeting also fell on students studying abroad and teachers training. The delegation also visited the new campus which greatly impressed them.

Herzing University was one of the first post-secondary institutions founded to prepare students for careers in the computer industry. Founded in 1965 by Henry and Suzanne Herzing, providing a career-focused, convenient, and caring education has been the focus of Herzing.
